Our graphics suite runs Lightwave for 3D Modelling, Combustion for compositing and grading, Elastic Reality for morphing effects, and Photoshop for image editing and retouching. Our fast render farm consists of dedicated rendering engines, allowing a fast turnaround to meet tight deadlines. And of course, our graphics specialists have the skill and knowledge to realise the full potential of our technology.
The term 'seamless CGI' describes the kind of work we are committed to producing at Finishing Post. It involves knowing how to apply and combine the right visual effects to create a finished image that enhances the original video, but never obtrusively or unconvincingly so. Our integrated high-end computer systems make this achievable, but needless to say, only the creativity and expertise of our graphics artists can bring it all to life.

Click the box below to watch a visual effect created for the BBC production 'Sweeney Todd'. During principal photography a fake knife was used for the shot, but when the results proved less than impressive, Finishing Post's visual effects department used CGI to create the desired look. Although the shot is only a few seconds long, it was an involving job, owing to the difficulty of adding a realistic liquid effect to a shot that was originally intended to use only a fake knife.
