MPEG2 is the industry standard for encoding DVD (MPEG1 is used to produce CDs)
We have an Optibase MPEG2 Hardware Encoder, which encodes in real time from Beta SP, SX, IMX, Digibeta, DV, or DV Cam. We can also encode live directly from any of our edit suites.
We are able to deal with all the issues involved in encoding in a way that suits your needs. This includes using the right level of compression, testing, and ensuring optimal compatibility with all DVD players.
