Animation
Animation, in 2D and 3D, is created with Lightwave 9 And Combustion 4.0. It can be used as part of a title sequence, DVD menu, item visualisation sequence, or anywhere else it is required. Animations are designed by a full-time graphic artist and rendered quickly on our render farm.
Animation provides both visual flair to enliven your programmes, and a way of illustrating concepts you wish to get across to the viewer in an accessible manner. We work both in 2D and 3D to create everything from a simple animated version of your logo, to a detailed model of an object or environment. In the past, for example, we have created 3D medical visualisations, architectural simulations and models of working machinery; but we have the capability to create almost anything you can imagine. And once a model has been created, it can be reused as many times as you like.
Our designers are not product designers or technical modellers, they are specialists in animations specifically for TV - and it shows where it matters; on screen.

The following video was created for a promotional DVD for Tortuga Beach & Spa. The video includes accurate and highly detailed 3D models of apartments from the original plans, created by the architectural modelling experts at Albino Igil. The accompanying music was composed, recorded and mixed by Finishing Post's sister company, Sounding Post. We think it shows the integration of high-quality sound and vision we are able to provide.
